August 30, 1981 -November 30, 2011

Story from the Quilt:
This quilt square is named “Sunshine Serenade.” Our serenade began August 30, 1981, and ended tragically November 30, 2011.

The square is made from his shirts in one of his favorite colors. The picture was taken the morning his son Garret Ty was born.

Five people have received an improved quality of life by receiving his organs and many more by receiving his bone and tissue. So even though our serenade has ended, more are continuing.
