Story from the Quilt:
This quilt square is in the remembering of Frederick Simmons who died on November 21, 2005. It is a blue jean square and the reason the family chose blue jeans is because that was his favorite clothing to wear. He was a person who loved to walk and make people laugh. He would help anyone do anything no matter what the job was. Whenever you were around Freddy he was going to do or say something funny. He was a person who loved football and he loved going on road trips with his friend Tyrone. He was a loving and caring person. So we dedicate his quilt square in honor of Frederick D. Simmons.
