Story from the Quilt:

JR was a happy, fun-loving young man, always ready for an adventure. He dedicated his entire adult life to public service. He loved his job, his family and his dog. The photo on this quilt square was taken the day he graduated Trooper Academy. He fulfilled his lifelong dream!

In true warrior spirit, he fought for a full week before succumbing to his injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. JR had signed on to be an organ donor, again, putting others first. He was a wonderful son, brother and uncle. He will forever be missed.
