Story from the Quilt:
For eight years three hundred fifty-three days, Lauren Hope Tew gave life and love to our hearts. And now I’m starving for her smile, her smell, her faith, her forgiveness. Her presence filled me up, and now her absence leaves me agonizingly empty.

For eight years three hundred fifty-three days I became more and more dependent on I love you daddy and I love you mommy. How overwhelmingly wonderful to have been touched by the heart of God, and how unbearable to be unable to be touched again.

We love Lauren so very much, and she loved us so very much more.
