December 17, 1940 -September 26, 2003

Story from the Quilt:
John Charles Wetter died from a tragic accident on September 26, 2003. He was an avid runner almost all of his life. He was a high school cross-country star. As an adult, he tried to run every day and he loved to enter local races. My mother found this picture, I had cross-stitched it for my dad years ago. We thought it would be perfect for his quilt square. His love for life is seen even as he became an organ donor. This is just one small way my family hopes to show how wonderful John Wetter really was.
