Do you have students interested in advocating for donation? They should consider establishing a SODA chapter at their school.

Student Organ Donation Advocates lead student-focused education and registration efforts in their communities. To start a SODA chapter at your high school or college campus, you will need three interested students and a faculty advisor. Students are asked to have at least one donation centered activity scheduled per semester. SODA provides resources, materials, and also has scholarship opportunities!

Are you a student or faculty member at a high school or college in Alabama and interested in getting a SODA chapter formed? Email our Community Liaison Abby Litovsky at

We currently have 7 SODA Chapters in Alabama! Those schools are:

  • Calera High School
  • Chelsea High School
  • Oak Mountain High School
  • University of Alabama
  • University of Alabama Birmingham
  • Greenville High School
